TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Storm (1-7, 0-4) defeated the Arizona Rattlers (6-3, 4-0) by a score of 63-56 in front of 8,298 fans at AMALIE Arena.  Veteran T.T. Toliver caught the game-winning touchdown with three seconds left on the clock.

Toliver’s two touchdowns gave him 101 career receiving touchdowns in a Storm uniform. Toliver, led all receivers with 182 yards on nine catches for two touchdowns. He needs just 167 yards to become the League’s all-time leading receiver in receiving yards. He needs just 23 receptions to become the League’s all-time leading receiver in receptions.

Toliver’s first TD catch of the game was his 100th receiving touchdown in a Storm uniform, making him only the second player in AFL history to record 100+ touchdown receptions with two franchises (Orlando – 148; Tampa Bay – 101). He joins Chris Jackson who accomplished the feat with Los Angeles and Georgia.

Fellow Storm wide receiver Phillip Barnett collected a career single-game high three touchdown receptions on seven catches for 61 yards.

Tampa Bay defensive back Cortez Stubbs corralled an interception in his second consecutive game. He now leads the Storm with three interceptions.

Storm defensive lineman Everett Dawkins and James McClinton each recorded sacks. This is the first multi-sack game of the season for the Storm defense.

The Arizona Rattlers had two receivers, Rod Windsor and Chase Deadder, record more than 100 yards receiving. This is the third time during the 2016 AFL seasons an opponent has done so against Tampa Bay.

Making his return from injured reserve, Storm WR/KR Gerald Young recorded a touchdown on his only reception and returned a kickoff for a touchdown, his first and the team’s second of the season.

Storm quarterback Jason Boltus led the offense, completing 24-of-39 passes for a game-high 358 yards and six touchdowns.
